KAN English: A new survey has found that overwhelming majorities in the Jewish and Arab public oppose the recent sectoral violence

A new survey carried out by the aChord Center at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem has found that overwhelming majorities in the Jewish and Arab public oppose the recent sectoral violence, while each side ascribes the other for being more inclined to violence. At the same time, and contrary to widespread perception, about 60 percent of Jewish respondents, and 73 percent of Arab respondents, think Jews and Arabs can live together. KAN reporter Naomi Segal heard more about the findings from Nimrod Nir, a social psychologist and researcher at the aChord Center of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
